.......Tress/Pass, 1999, post card series/installation from a collaborative performance, with Yong Soon Min, Kiran Emrich and Rita Emrich.
During a car tour of France and Spain in August of 1999, the four of us attempted to "pass" as a blonde European family while visiting various popular tourist sites. Wherever we stopped, we performed the routine tourist ritual of asking others to take our souvenir snapshot. Also shown as a gallery installation comprising 24 c-prints, wigs, diary entries, and two souvenir drawings made by a commercial portraitist working in the Plaza Mayor, Madrid.
